Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering is a Professional Core Course (PCC 411) designed to develop an understanding of the dynamic behaviour of structures subjected to vibration and earthquake loading. The course deals with vibration theory of the structures in terms of Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering. The course aims at the appropriate design and construction of buildings in accordance with building codes, which is essential to minimize the damage due to earthquakes.
